Interestingly the Australian govt is trialling repression in the form of Internet filtering  at this very point, with a view to silencing any discussion of illegal or &quot;unwanted&quot; subjects. It appears The Australian govt is developing its own cultural repression based on the christian religion and whatever their believers find offensive.

		<description>I note that you do not mention the perhaps subtle issue with lese majeste that the Thais believe the law applies to actions or statements anyone may take or make outside the country

and it is a National Security law so is treated very seriously (like terrorism)

so anyone &quot;insulting the monarchy&quot; anywhere in the world may be subject to arrest and incarceration if they visit or perhaps even transit Thailand at any time after</description>
