Thank you for your always interesting and insightful commentary on Japanese politics. As someone who was the editor of LDPs&#039; English-language &#039;Liberal Star&#039; in the late 1980s - Takeshita was PM and Recruit was the big scandal - I greatly enjoy your updates on the gradual implosion of the LDP.
