Gregory B. Poling directs the Southeast Asia Program and Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, where he is also Senior Fellow. He is the author of 'On Dangerous Ground: America’s Century in the South China Sea', along with various works on US alliances and partnerships in Southeast Asia.
